Not greyed, I think you’re banned on deadspin. Your comments don’t show up at all, even in the greys, and your linked comment has a -1.
I got banned a few weeks ago on DS. I think one of the Gawker refugees is all angsty.

if you go back to the page and your comment doesn’t appear even after you click “show pending” then you’re perma-dismissed (effectively banned.) I think I’ve only been booted from Jalopnik. comments I post on Gizmodo, Deadspin and occasionally Jez are visible but grey and sometimes get starred..

I feel the same way. I have no idea who I offended. I think mine was a very mild Ryan Lochte joke.
I think you can email the writers and try to get pulled back, if you’re so inclined.

Check with a different browser not logged in. I was able to confirm my proud banning from FP, for mocking the Tesla cult and questioning the wikipedia knowledge of the pseudo-journalists.

To be honest I didn’t think I really started a lot of shit out on the FPs. I was cool up until last week.
The only thing I did was slam AQ in the Cigar Lounge. Something tells me that may have been seen?

honestly I don’t really care. it’s only been once or twice in the past couple of months where I might have wanted to comment. I got tired of their horn-rimmed, skinny-jeaned, shave-the-sides-of-my-head-but-leave-a-pile-of-hair-on-top, I-live-in-the-most-car-hostile-city-on-Earth millennial mindset a while ago. Jalopnik put out a “we’re hiring” post which said aspiring authors “must live in or near New York City.” Why? so they can sit in an open-plan and eat catered lunches every day, and wreck press cars because none of them know how to drive?
hell, I went to the Kart 2 Kart event in January, and left before it even started. Why? because the Jalopnik writers walked in and just stood in a tight cluster talking to each other for half an hour.
Fuck ‘em. they can have their little NYC circle-jerk.
